Medicare Clients
Foresight Now Provides Therapy and Psychiatry for Medicare Beneficiaries!
-
Almost 66 million Americans get their health insurance through Medicare.
-
About one in four Medicare beneficiaries lives with a mental illness condition, such as depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, or bipolar disorder, but only 40 to 50 percent receive treatment.
Clearly, there is a need for mental health care support that is covered by Medicare.

Our Expanded Services
We are excited and honored to share that we have expanded our services to start taking Medicare clients, beginning July 1, 2024. This is a significant milestone in furthering Foresight Mental Health’s purpose of improving access to high-quality mental health care!
Our licensed clinicians have been trained to provide care and support for people across the lifespan, including older adults, which make up the majority of Medicare beneficiaries. Yet, until now, they have largely been unable to work with them due to the complexities of Medicare reimbursement. This is a game-changer for Foresight as it allows us to provide care to a demographic in need and offer diverse caseloads for our providers.
- Our teams are prepared to provide telehealth therapy and medication management for older adults.
- Our intake process asks the right questions to match clients with the right provider.
- Our training programs address the unique facets of working with this population (i.e., visual, auditory, and speech impairment; lack of technical proficiency, etc.).
Almost 19% of the total U.S. population is on Medicare. Accepting Medicare clients furthers our purpose of improving access to high-quality mental health care, by allowing us to serve more people. We are ready!
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services offers these tips guide for Seniors using telehealth:
There are many tools or apps for telehealth video visits. They might look a little different from each other, but they all work in similar ways. After you log in, here is what to look for:

This button controls your camera. When you see a slash through it, that means your health care provider cannot see you.

This button controls your microphone. When you see a slash through it, that means your health care provider cannot hear you.

When you click this button, a chat box will open up. The chat box lets you type and send messages to your health care provider.

This button is usually red. Clicking on it will end your telehealth video meeting.
