Anxiety is a normal human emotion that everyone experiences at times. Many people feel nervous when faced with stressful situations, yet if anxiety starts to interfere with your ability to lead a normal life, then you may consider consulting a physician for the treatment of an anxiety disorder.


Depression is a common medical illness that can disrupt your life. It is characterized by a persistent low mood that is often accompanied by an inability to feel pleasure. In addition, a person may have problems eating, sleeping, working, and getting along with friends.


In general, trauma can be defined as a psychological, emotional response to an event or an experience that is deeply distressing or disturbing. When loosely applied, it can refer to something upsetting, such as being involved in an accident or having an illness or injury.

Bipolar Disorder

Bipolar disorder or manic-depressive illness causes abnormal shifts in mood and behavior. Due to its effect on concentration, energy level, and sleep, a person’s capacity to complete daily tasks can be severely affected.


Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a type of anxiety disorder that may occur after one has gone through an extreme emotional trauma that involved the threat of injury or death. Some of the major symptoms of PTSD are nightmares, too much anxiety, upsetting flashbacks, and etc.


Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is an anxiety disorder characterized by repetitive, ritualized behaviors. These behaviors are triggered by uncontrollable, unwanted thoughts (Obsessions) that create an urge to perform a certain activity (Compulsions).


Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD) refers to a range of psychological problems like poor concentration, constant activity, being easily distracted, impulsivity or a combination of all of them. ADHD often begins in childhood. But it may continue into the adult years.


Schizophrenia is a chronic, severe, and disabling brain disorder. People suffering from the illness often hear voices in an absence of a stimulus or have false beliefs known as delusions and also might have difficulty in differentiating reality from the delusions and hallucinations.

Schizo-Affective Disorder

Schizo-Affective disorder is psychiatric symptoms of schizoaffective disorder. This is a combination of schizophrenia and a major mood disorder like depression or bipolar disorder.

Eating Disorder

Eating disorders are behavior problems. They can include severe overeating or not consuming enough food to stay healthy. They also involve extreme concern about your shape or weight.

Panic Disorder

Panic disorder is a type of anxiety disorder. It causes panic attacks, which are sudden feelings of terror when there is no real danger. People suffering from panic disorder may feel as if they are losing control.


Ketamine Treatment

Foresight is one of the first in the Bay Area to offer Spravato, the newest medication for treatment-resistant depression. Recently approved by the FDA, it is a fast-acting Ketamine nasal spray.

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)

TMS is a non-invasive treatment for depression which involves the use of a pulsed magnetic field to stimulate nerve cells in specific parts of the brain that affect mood control and depression. Individuals with treatment resistant depression and a diagnosis of Major Depressive Disorder may be candidates for this treatment.
