I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) at Foresight Orange. I received my Master’s Degree in Counseling from California State University, Fullerton, and I am bilingual in Vietnamese. I have been working in community mental health agencies since 2016 with an emphasis on the Asian Pacific Islander Population. I have also worked with adults who have histories of domestic violence, homelessness, trauma, incarcerations, multiple psychiatric hospitalizations, and severe and persistent mental health. From a feminist framework, I strive to empower clients to address cultural/systematic/societal oppressions based on their intersectional identities: gender, sex, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, race/ethnicity, and other factors. Furthermore, I integrate a holistic approach of addressing social, community, work, relationship, and family dynamics that impact clients’ areas of concern. My culturally mindful, therapeutic interventions range from Gestalt, principles of Parent-Child Interaction therapy, Narrative, Person-Centered, Attachment-Based, Motivational Interviewing and Solution-Focused.
