My mission is to create a safe, warm, and supportive environment for clients to process and heal. My objective in therapy is to support clients in developing healthy, secure connections and strengthening resiliency to enhance personal growth and understanding. By building a trusting and collaborative relationship, I hope to empower clients to build effective strategies and coping skills to handle life stressors. My goal as your therapist is to listen and further understand your situation in order to help you identify and work towards personal goals, as well as develop the skills and confidence to navigate life challenges. I received my Master’s degree in Counseling with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy from University of Phoenix in 2016. I have experience working in both community, outpatient, residential, and school-based settings with children, transitional- aged youth, and adults. I have extensive training in crisis management, trauma-informed care as well as cultural competency; other specialty areas include depression, anxiety, life transitions, stress, and coping skills building. My primary treatment modalities include a person-centered, cognitive-behavioral approach.
