I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Masters Degree from Temple University. I have 9 years of experience working with clients from a wide range of vulnerable populations including: Veterans, children and families, criminal history/re-entry, LGBTQIA+ and individuals experiencing homelessness. Many of my clients experience depression, anxiety, stress, anger, difficulty regulating their emotions, impulsivity, and challenges with healthy communication. I have a warm and direct conversational style, with a non-judgmental and compassionate attitude. My approach as a clinician is collaborative and strength-based. It is my belief that each client is unique and therefore I customize the therapeutic experience to their needs utilizing a mixture of modalities, including Dialectal Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing. My goal for therapy is to assist clients in developing awareness as to what is holding them back so that they can work through their current challenges build skills to better function. This may include working through a difficult transition, relieving specific troubling symptoms, building coping strategies to manage difficult feelings, improving communication, improving the quality of relationships, increasing social skills, improving conflict resolution and problem solving skills, and gaining greater insight and awareness for personal growth. I believe together we can conquer unhelpful though patterns, behaviors, and beliefs and improve your overall quality of life.
