Ronnie Tucker, LCSW

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) at Foresight Mental Health. I received my Master’s Degree in Social Work with an emphasis on Mental Health from Cal State University of the East Bay. For over a decade, I have gained experience working with various people from diverse backgrounds in Nonprofit, Community-Based, Inpatient, Outpatient, Judicial, and Government Agency settings. I enjoy working with teens, young adults, and older adults assisting them in developing personal strengths, establishing structure, and utilizing necessary coping skills and learned techniques to thrive interpersonally and manage times of discomfort. My areas of specialty include but are not limited to child abuse, child welfare and juvenile dependency, substance abuse, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, men’s issues, and trauma. I strive to collectively create an inviting atmosphere that is safe to explore and address concerns within a therapeutic setting. I use an integrated approach to therapy focused on a client-centered perspective drawing from therapeutic modalities such as psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness based practices, and strength-based and solution focused approaches.
