LIC NO. 126397
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) at Foresight Anaheim. I received my Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chapman University. I received my BA in Psychology with a minor in Human Sexuality from San Francisco State University. I have experience working in Community-Based, In-patient and Outpatient Mental Health Settings. I have a passion for working with young and older adults, couples and families in order to assist them in developing and utilizing the necessary coping skills to manage and thrive during difficult times and life transitions, and through needed change. My goals are to create a safe and supportive environment for all my clients, while they increase their level of self-understanding and self-awareness. My specialty areas include depression, anxiety, coping skills, interpersonal conflict, stress management, relationship issues, sexuality, kinks, life problems/transitions, self-esteem and personal growth. I approach therapy from a trauma-informed, collaborative perspective: focusing on genuineness, empathy, and helping clients connect their thoughts, feelings, and actions. I aim to highlight strengths and help identify and create opportunities for personal growth. I have experience working with teens, adults, couples and and families utilizing interventions from cognitive behavioral therapy, strength-based approaches, and mindfulness practices.
