Loida Almaguel, LCSW

I have an LCSW license since 2011 and completed a Master in Social Work Degree at California State University, Sacramento.
I am an experienced clinician working across the lifespan and is proficient in evidence based models for children and adults. My specialty areas include: depression, anxiety, stress management, family issues, and life management with an adherence to the value and practice of radical acceptance of whatever is brought to therapy. My past work settings run the gamut from school-based, to community-based, to institutional shelter clinical support. I'm also experienced in clinical supervision and training. I am bilingual/bicultural (English/Spanish). When not working, I enjoy reading and walking on the beach, learning parasailing, photographing sunrises and sunsets.
