Lindsey Cavin, LMFT
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
LIC NO. 105530
I am a warm and empathetic Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with experience facilitating individual, family, and group therapy. I hold a Master's in Counseling Psychology from The Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA, and a Bachelor's in Adolescent and Adult Psychology from Saint Mary's College of California. I specialize in working with adolescents, emerging adults, and adults in areas including (but not limited to): anxiety, depression, stress management, self-esteem, relationship dynamics, ADHD, and substance abuse.
I am passionate about helping others by providing tailored client-centered care. I have experience with clients of diverse backgrounds in various environments, including residential treatment facilities, educational institutions, community-based counseling, and outpatient settings. I use an integrative approach combining a number of modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and a strengths-based approach. Above all, I value building a trusting, positive, and therapeutic relationship.
I provide a safe, culturally sensitive, and non-judgemental space for self-exploration and personal growth. I value collaboration and will always meet you "where you are at" to help you build on your innate strengths already within. I understand that Mental Health is a unique journey, and looks forward to providing support as you explore the most authentic version of yourself.
