I am a licensed marriage and family therapist and a certified art therapist with 15 years of experience working with families, children, and adolescents in a school and hospital setting. I specialize with helping adults managing anxiety, depression, grief, parenting children with special needs, eating disorders, addiction within the family, and repairing attachment in adoption/foster children. I utilize a wide variety of therapeutic approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, art therapy and sand-tray world play. As a collaborative therapist my focus is to acknowledge strengths and help an individual or family identify personal needs and wants in life. The goals of therapy are related to improving self-esteem, social skills, anger management, grief, parenting, and stress management.
