I love helping people gain insight into themselves, improve self esteem, heal from past traumas, identify and over come, "stuck points," improve boundaries, and learn coping skills to reduce anxiety and stress. I use a person centered approach with cultural humility, and I utilize techniques from CBT, Motivational interviewing, CPT, ACT, DBT, and Logotherapy. I have over 3 years experience working with substance use disorders. grief and loss, interpersonal partner violence, childhood trauma and adverse experiences, Sexual assault survivors, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, psychosis, gang violence, and sexual issues. I also have experience with, and enjoying working with the LGBTQIA+, POC, immigrants, and a-domiciled individuals. I prefer to work with individual adults.
