Joleen Martinez, LMFT

I am a licensed psychotherapist that provides services for children, adolescents, adults, & families. I was impressed early in life by the power of empathy and compassion to strengthen connections and support healing. I value self-inquiry, humility, and reflection to understand self and relationship to others. My treatment approach focuses on strength-based, solution-focused care. I am intellectually curious and value the importance of evidence-based practices. I emphasize self-regulation and developing a deeper understanding of our intentions so that our inner and outer worlds can be more closely aligned. I have been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) since 2009. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz and my Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from San Francisco State University. I have been practicing psychotherapy for over 15 years.
