Jessie McLaughlin, LPC

Hi! My name is Jessie and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. In addition, I am a Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC) in the state of Colorado for those seeking help with addictions or co-occurring disorders. I view each person as an individual and integrate each individual's uniqueness into therapy from a person-centered and strength-based approach. I believe that everyone has strengths that can be utilized to aid in the development of emotional growth and improvement. My therapeutic approach comes from an understanding that we are shaped by life experiences, relationships, and culture. Life can feel uncertain and unfulfilling at times, but it is possible to overcome and adapt to adversity and live life with intention. Starting therapy can be intimidating, but I am here to listen and provide non-judgmental support in a safe space.   I specialize in helping individuals cope with anxiety, depression, substance use, and various life stressors. I have experience in diverse settings including inpatient and outpatient programs for adults and children experiencing mild to severe mental health disorders and/or substance use disorders. I am also proud to have served as an advocate for domestic violence survivors.
