Jayme Murakami, LMFT

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) at Foresight in Palo Alto. I have a MA in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling, which I received from Palo Alto University, Pacific Graduate School of Psychology. I am a trauma informed and culturally humble therapist. I have experience working in a Kinship Program, community-based Wraparound program, and a non-public school therapeutic program. I am skilled in working with a breadth of child, adolescent and families across different cultures and socioeconomic demographics. I have provided intensive strategies to address any current need for stabilization, crisis intervention and individual, family and group trauma – focused treatment. I approach therapy from an integrative and holistic perspective and believe in the healing of the mind-body-spirit connection. I believe that each individual is the author of their own story and the importance of finding one’s authentic self and voice.
