Ivette Dominguez, LCSW

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and received my Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California. I have extensive experience working with domestic violence survivors in community settings and emergency shelters. Helping clients keep themselves safe, make sense of their trauma experiences and responses. I have worked primarily with adults and in other community settings. Helping clients better understand their symptoms of anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, phase of life changes, etc. I believe in creating a safe space and trust with the understanding that the relationship between therapist and client is key. I am empathetic and goal oriented, I approach therapy from a client-centered and trauma informed perspective. Working in a collaborative manner with clients to process difficult experiences, identifying their core beliefs and the unhelpful thinking styles that they may experience. Helping clients break free from beliefs and patterns that may no longer be serving them.
