Catherine Ewing, LCSW

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Foresight/San Francisco. I received my Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of South Carolina. I have experience working in Community-Based, Outpatient and Justice-Involved Mental Health Settings. I have a passion for working with young and older adults to assist them in developing and utilizing the necessary coping skills to manage and thrive during difficult times and life transitions, through needed change. My specialty areas include depression, anxiety, coping skills, interpersonal conflict, and stress management. I approach therapy from a trauma-informed, client centered perspective: focusing on genuineness, empathy and helping clients connect their thoughts, feelings and actions. I aim to highlight strengths and help identify and create opportunities for person growth. I have experience working with teens, adults and older adults utilizing interventions from cognitive behavioral therapy, strength-based and mindfulness practices.
