Ashley Doss, LPCC

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and a Registered Art Therapist. I received my Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Art Therapy from Adler University in Chicago, IL. I have experience working with children and adolescents, adults with severe mental illness, and older adults with cognitive deficits. Being able to offer services for a diverse group of individuals is important to me. Through my studies and practice experiences, I have utilized verbal psychotherapy techniques from a client-centered perspective as well as art therapy techniques, giving me a range of approaches to explore with individuals in treatment. For the past decade, I have noticed that being a part of one’s journey through healing has further ignited my passion and dedication for this field. My specialty areas include depression, anxiety, coping skills, impulsivity, and gaining insight/fostering motivation for accomplishing personal goals. My goal in therapy is to provide a safe place for members to share their experiences, process what these experiences might mean for them in their lives, and offer practical tools they can use each day to help them grow and thrive.
