Angelina Thurston, LPC

Hello, I am Angelina Thurston a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I received by Master's Degree in Psychology from Seattle University. I have over 20 years working in a variety of mental health settings including: inpatient psychiatry, outpatient counseling, residential treatment for children, community case management and community mental health services. I especially enjoy working with adults in assisting them to develop and utilize effective and clinically proven strategies and skills to manage and thrive in their own lives. My specialty areas include depression, anxiety, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, life transitions, stress management and conflict resolution. I take a client-centered trauma-informed clinical approach and meet clients where they are at and assist them in getting to where they want to be in their lives. This includes custom tailored treatment plans to include clients own personal goal for treatment. I utilize a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, strengths-based and solution focused approach with every client I work with.
