Will was born and raised in the Bay Area and has an intense appreciation for the diverse strengths of the community. He prides himself on being a multiculturally competent practitioner and enthusiastically and humbly strives to learn about the unique perspective that every client brings to the therapeutic relationship. Using a trauma-informed and evidence-based approach combining cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and family systems theory, he educates clients on how behaviors, thoughts, and environment contribute to problems and collaboratively explores effective coping skills to independently manage these problems going forward. Will understands therapy takes commitment and courage, and he takes pride in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere with a heavy dose of authenticity and humor.
