Stephanie Mora, LMFT
Stephanie Mora’s approach with her clients is empathetic and supportive. She believes the most important aspect in the therapeutic process is developing a strong rapport. “I cannot expect my clients to share with me their biggest challenges if there is not a therapeutic relationship based on trust, and this begins with utilizing open communication and understanding in getting to know my clients.”
“I want to create a space that is safe and free of judgment. You are the expert on you, and your life. I want to work collaboratively with you on your journey of growth and healing.”
Stephanie received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Child Studies and Marriage and Family Therapy from Antioch University, Los Angeles. She has over eight years of experience in the mental health field working in residential, PHP/IOP, and outpatient settings.
Stephanie specializes in working with teenagers, young adults, trauma, Eating Disorders, and the LGBTQ plus population. She is extensively trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy modalities. She also utilizes different interventions from other modalities because it is about what will work best for each individual client, not a one size fits all.
