Shannon Casey has a doctorate (PsyD) in psychology and is a licensed clinical psychologist. She has been working in the field of mental health for over 7 years. Her experience includes providing therapy to clients hospitalized in an inpatient facility, outpatient program, and in the community. Shannon has treated individuals with a variety of diagnoses and issues, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, social isolation, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, grief, trauma, PTSD, hoarding disorder, OCD, substance use disorders, and personality disorders.
Shannon incorporates techniques from Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Positive Psychology into my sessions. She provides support and compassion to help her clients improve their lives. Some clients know what they want, but they have obstacles that prevent them from moving forward.
