Sarah Tominello is an ANCC board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) trained in medication management and psychotherapy. She specializes in mood, anxiety, cognitive, and trauma-related disorders. Her approach consists of individualized medication management in conjunction with mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy. Sarah collaborates with clients to create treatment plans designed to fulfill their personal mental health goals. As a provider, Sarah guides individuals towards improving cognitive distortions, emotional regulation, and self-esteem.
Sarah completed a Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology at the University of California, Santa Barbara, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the California State University of Los Angeles (CSULA). She went on to earn a Master of Science in Nursing from CSULA, specializing as a Nurse Practitioner in Family Psychiatry and Mental Health. While earning her undergraduate degree, Sarah helped treat individuals affected by opioid addiction. She later worked as a Charge Registered Nurse at an emergency psychiatric hospital in Los Angeles, managing care for patients of all ages.
