Encino (Previously Sherman Oaks)
I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) at Foresight Sherman Oaks. I received my Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. I have experience working in Community-Based, and Outpatient Mental Health Settings. I have a passion for working with young and older adults to assist them in developing and utilizing the necessary coping skills to manage and thrive during difficult times and life transitions and through needed change. My specialty areas include depression, anxiety, coping skills, interpersonal conflict, and stress management. I approach therapy from a trauma-informed, client-centered perspective: focusing on genuineness, empathy, and helping clients connect their thoughts, feelings, sensations, and actions. Also, I aim to highlight their strengths for personal growth. I have experience working with teens, adults, and older adults utilizing interventions from emotional-focused, somatic, strength-based approaches, and mindfulness practices.
