Rachel Koonse is a licensed marriage and family therapist from Southern California. After graduating with her masters in marriage and family therapy from the University of Southern California, Rachel worked in school based settings, county jails, and in the nonprofit sector. Rachel has experience working with individuals, couples, and families facing anxiety, depression, relational issues, trauma, learning disorders, ADHD, Autism, and life transitions. She specializes in working with those who are experiencing chronic illness, grief, and loss. Rachel utilizes several evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, and mindfulness based therapy. Rachel aims to build authentic relationships with her clients and believes that everyone has unique strengths and resiliencies that are central to the healing process.
