“The lotus is the most beautiful flower, whose petals open one by one. ...The lotus flower is a magical flower for it is rooted in mud, surrounded by water and somehow finds a way to bloom and grow. A lotus is a survivor, it pushes its way through muddy waters and finds the sunlight.”

Wellness is an active process of becoming aware of and making choices toward a healthy and fulfilling life. Wellness is more than being free from mental or physical illness, it is a dynamic process of change and growth. "A state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.”

My goal is to help you on your path to wellness and recovery and to learn about psychological flexibility, to begin your recovery work through very difficult experiences, develop new effective coping tools and skills for dealing with life’s challenges and be able to celebrate its successes. I primary draw from ACT (Acceptance and commitment therapy), however I also utilize, Person Centered, Trauma Focused, Somatic Experiencing, Cognitive Behavior and Dialectical Behavior Therapy techniques
