Phyu-Phoebe is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) at Foresight Mental Health, Thousand Oaks. She received her M.A in Clinical Psychology with a focus of Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. She has experience working with adults, adolescents, couples and families with diverse population/culture in both outpatient and residential settings. Phoebe has experience in treating Complex Trauma; Depression; Anxiety; PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder); ADHD (Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder); Abusive/Unhealthy Relationships; Dual Diagnosis; Crisis Management; Suicide Prevention and Assessment; Domestic Violence Relationships; and Life-Transitions. Phoebe’s specialty areas include depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief/loss, childhood attachment trauma, stress management, relationship issues and life management. She approaches therapy by focusing on attachment with a client-centered perspective by using empathy and non-judgmental methods. Phoebe uses integrative approach from several therapeutic modalities (Attachment, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma Informed Approach, Gestalt and Solution Focused Therapy) to meet the individual needs of each client, couples and families.
