Nicole Skeele, (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) committed to providing counseling to help others grow and develop. Through several unique approaches, her practice aims to help individuals and families relieve pain and nurture joy and optimism. With a warm approach, Nicole seeks to provide assessments, clinical treatment, and set realistic goals as soon as possible using the following approach: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time limited (SMART) goal design Identify the internal (thought tracking) and external work (behavior tracking/intervention) necessary to reach those goals Provide clinical and bio-psycho-social assessments Follow up assessments and referrals as needed. She provides crisis intervention, case management, and clinical services to individuals and families. Nicole provides long-term life management counseling. She uses a trauma-informed lens to help members mitigate feelings of helplessness, isolation, and confusion. She integrates mindfulness, and solution-focused techniques in session. Nicole has completed specialized training in family systems and crisis intervention. Oftentimes, what happens early in life is overwhelming, or confusing. Nicole aims to work with children, adolescents, and adults in order to process the world around them, and in turn understand themselves and their values better. Her technique in family therapy is based on the Structural Family Therapy model which aims to identify how family members behave toward one another. This insight often provides families with introspection on their individual behavior and how this may be helping or hurting the family balance. Then, we aim to assist the family in identifying and pursuing their values and goals. Nicole has over five years of direct experience working with individuals and families in social services and human development. She received her M.S. in Social Work from the University of California, Berkeley and my Bachelor’s at Oregon State University.
