Marc Galati, LMFT
Marc Galati is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who studied psychology as an undergraduate at San Francisco State University, and Family Therapy during graduate school at Mercer University in Georgia. He has over 10 years experience working with clients, which includes working with individuals, couples, and families. For over 5 years Marc has been working with clients and their families in crisis residential settings. He has worked extensively with client’s suffering from anxiety, depression, psychosis, as well as trauma.
Marc has a strengths based approach, and he enjoys working with a diverse clientele, which includes age, culture, ethnicity, and clients in the LGBTQ community. He believes it is essential for clients to experience therapy in a safe, supportive, and empathic environment, where treatment goals can be achieved through compassion, understanding, and evidence based interventions. His treatment also includes working with clients to help identify and effectively use skills in order to reduce the impact of life’s stressful moments. Marc is passionate about helping clients work through life’s emotional challenges, which includes life transitions where professional support can be beneficial.
