Lisa C. Obermeit, PhD (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who cares deeply about providing culturally sensitive care. She obtained her doctoral degree from the SDSU/UC San Diego Joint Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in neuropsychology. She completed her internship training at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School and her 2-year postdoctoral fellowship through the Harvard-Partners Consortium in Clinical Neuropsychology. She has provided assessments and/or interventions for a wide variety of cognitive and psychological concerns, including dementia/neurodegenerative disorders,
HIV-associated neurocognitive disorder, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, stroke, concussions, substance use disorders, ADHD/neurodevelopmental disorders, and more.
She views neuropsychological assessments as a means to identify both strengths and weaknesses. This helps to tailor treatment recommendations for each individual to promote positive growth and success.
