Lauren Keats, Psy.D
Lauren Keats, Psy.D. is a clinical psychologist who specializes in the assessment and treatment of individuals with a wide range of neurological, medical, and psychological diagnoses, including acquired brain injuries, dementia, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and other chronic medical illnesses. She received her Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in Neuropsychology, from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, and received specialized training in integrated behavioral medicine at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center. She completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in geroneuropsychology and acquired additional experience working with NFL athletes and in clinical trials for Alzheimer's disease treatment. Her research interests include cognitive rehabilitation and healthy aging. When providing rehabilitative services, she enjoys assisting individuals in reducing unhelpful thinking or behavioral patterns, compensating for cognitive difficulty, and improving independent functioning.
