JoAnn Eberle is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) at Foresight Fresno. She received her Master’s Degree in Counseling with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy and a Specialization in working with Latino/a Individuals & Families from Pacific Oaks College of California. She is fluently bilingual in Spanish/English while maintaining a strong connection to her Native American roots. She has over 20 years’ experience working in both Community-Based and School-Based Mental Health settings within the Central Valley and Overseas on military installations in Asia & Europe. She has a passion for working with adults, children and families from diverse populations learn the necessary coping skills while facing difficult challenges and during periods of adjustments and transitions. JoAnn’s specialty areas include depression, anxiety, stress management, first responder burn out, family issues, children with disabilities, parenting young children and life management. She approaches therapy from a holistic and client-centered perspective: focusing on empathy, genuineness, and unconditional positive regard. She aims to highlight strengths and create opportunities for growth. She has experience working with teens, adults, and families utilizing interventions from cognitive behavioral therapy, strengths-based approaches, and mindfulness practices. Holistic approaches a sensitivity to spirituality, religion, and cultural strengths and challenges specific to each family & individual.
