Jacque Heintz, LMFT
Jacque Heintz is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Folsom. She earned her Masters in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Transpersonal Psychology from John F. Kennedy University in 2011. She has been licensed since 2015. For the last decade, she has held many positions and has a wide range of experience working with youth, parents, and families. She has experience in behavioral services, crisis intervention, school-based mental health needs, wraparound, and child welfare experience, including adoptions. Jacque’s specialties include working with anxiety, women’s issues, prenatal/pregnancy/postnatal issues, life transitions, and grief/loss.
Her approach is client-centered, strength-based, and solution-focused, while using techniques from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. She uses concepts rooted in Holistic Therapy, Mindfulness, and Transpersonal Psychology while providing a safe, empathic, and non-judgmental space. She believes one of the best outcomes for the client is one in which the client/therapist relationship is built upon mutual respect, agreement, collaboration, and trust.
