Guy Hernandez has approximately 5 years of experience working with children and families from a variety of backgrounds in the greater Bay Area. Guy has provided in home-based therapeutic services to children (primarily adolescents) and their families to manage and overcome issues related to social/school anxiety, school refusal, trauma disorders, behavioral adjustment difficulties, social skills deficits, and family conflict. Additionally, Guy has also provided transitional services to empower young adults (18-25) by developing independent living skills as they explore higher education and employment. Guy has received training in multiple therapeutic modalities including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Attachment Regulation and Competency therapeutic model. Guy received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from California State University, Chico and a Master's of Science in Counseling-Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, East Bay.
