Cathryn Waters, LMFT
Cathryn Waters is a licensed marriage and family therapist with over 20 years of experience as a Psychotherapist and as a Director of numerous organizations in California. She begins by finding a mutual understanding of how you are looking to heal at this time, developing that support through exploring solutions and providing tools to further enhance growth and resilience. She can support you in working through struggles related to family discord, work stress, trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, shame, and many other relational difficulties. Cathryn earned her Masters in Clinical Psychology from San Francisco State University and has worked with individuals, adolescents, families, seniors, and groups. This work involved those seeking help with a range of issues from severe mental illness to everyday stress, anxiety, depression, family issues, LGBTQ issues, trauma and aging and from outpatient through and including residential care. Using practice based evidence and evidence-based practices, she will work toward helping you reach the goals and the connections you deserve with empathy, compassion and openness, with a focus on authentic connection. Cathryn is keen in discovering the strengths that can support you in identifying and shifting areas for growth in order to enhance joy and enliven the you that you deserve to be for both yourself and for the people you love.
