Breanne Moore, LMFT
Breanne Moore is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. She has 4 years of experience, since graduating from California Baptist University with a masters in Counseling Psychology. Breanne has experience with children, adolescents, and adults. She has worked in school settings, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. She has also worked with couples preparing for marriage and seeking support in their relationship goals. Breanne has experience with working with clients who have depression, anxiety, self-esteem, poor coping strategies, relationship issues, and adjustment concerns. She has worked with children and teens addressing stress, coping skills, and building interpersonal skills. Breanne has worked with adults who have been hospitalized, are struggling to cope with symptoms, adjusting to life changes, and accepting illness.
Breanne describes her approach as client centered, empathetic, and goal focused with touches of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused. She supports her clients in finding what works for them, and believes that success is found in what the person is able to implement. She focuses on meeting the client where they are and moving forward from that place. “I came into this field wanting to help people gain insight into their problems and issues, while finding solutions and not just labeling the problems.”
“I recognize that individuals are not their mental illness, rather they are faced with additional challenges to overcome. I know that seeking help is hard, but it is also the first step in changing yourself into the person that you want to be.”
