April Gollnick-Licenik, LMFT
April Gollnick-Licenik has been trained in Narrative Therapy, DBT, and EMDR. She is working towards training in somatic and parts focused modalities. April is also finishing a trauma certification program with the Trauma Research Foundation. “It is crucial, and I also find great enjoyment in educating myself to better help the people I serve.” April also has an understanding that "talk therapy" can only do so much, and it is the body that also needs to heal as well. April understands how attachment dysregulation and or childhood trauma/adverse experiences can shape a person in adulthood. She has experience working with a variety of populations within the community including: individuals coping with chronic pain; depression, anxiety, bipolar and PTSD; gender non-conforming folks; and those in need of support regarding social and family issues that may negatively influence their well-being and sense of self.
