Adriana Escobar, LCSW
Adriana is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who graduated from the University of California Berkeley and has experience working with individuals and families in non-profit, school, and community-based mental health settings. She is passionate about working with clients from communities of color and the LGBTQ+ community. During her time in practice, she has worked with clients dealing with a myriad of presenting situations, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, acculturation challenges, stress, relationship and family conflict, and adjustment to life changes. Adriana is dedicated to helping clients overcome challenges through a process of increasing self-awareness, identifying and building on strengths, and learning new approaches to achieve their goals. She has experience using trauma-informed, CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), motivational interviewing, and strengths-based approaches, but ultimately, is focused on providing clients with a safe space where they feel comfortable to explore, learn about themselves, and grow.
