My hope is for my clients to experience their capacity to heal, grow, and move forward in a way that honors who them and their life experience. I have experience working with parents of children with special needs and individuals managing grief and loss.
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with over 10 years of experience, working in a variety of mental health settings serving adults. I have a wide range of experience and training to assist individuals in navigating life’s challenges including grief and loss, complexities of parenting, as well as management of anxiety and depression. I specialize in helping parents cope with the demands of raising a child with special needs while also addressing their emotional, mental , and relationship well-being. I utilize evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
