I believe that initial trauma happens at birth and we experience different types and degrees of trauma throughout our lives. For a meaningful life, it is essential to address them in a safe and compassionate environment in order to develop healthy coping skills and move forward, knowing that we are not alone on this journey. I enjoy providing that safe space for my clients and planting seeds for a better present and future for them. Using a humanistic approach, I work closely with clients, couples, and families to improve communication skills and habits for meaningful connections. I have an eclectic approach since I believe everyone is different and has unique needs. I am open to work with any population, but mostly families and couples.
I am a licensed professional clinical counselor (LPCC) with an MBA degree and many years of working experience. The majority of my psychotherapy experience has been at a trauma center with clients of all ages and cultural backgrounds. I also have years of experience with the forensic population in group and individual therapy settings using eclectic approach to address PTSD, depression, anxiety, situational stress, loss and grief, work and family difficulties.
