Pronouns: She/her/hers
Day by day, I believe our society is learning to fight the stigma against mental health and illness. Despite increasing acceptance of mental health wellness, many people young and old, still hesitate to find appropriate counseling and support for their mental health illnesses. Realizing that every day is another chance to serve someone pushes me to do my best. It isn’t easy to ask for help and it is a privilege to be a provider to those who earnestly seek support. I hope to impart some hope, encouragement, and instill resilience into all my patient encounters. Everyone has their own unique story, but at the end of the day, we are all humans seeking connection. I aspire to meet my patients where they are, encourage them to reach where they want to be and guide them. Treatment involves examining personal beliefs and lifestyle through counseling as well as incorporating medications that can help mood and cognitive disorders.
Healthy adults begin with having healthy children. I enjoy working with children and raising them to be resilient humans so that when they are older and face increasing challenges, they have the necessary coping and life skills needed to conquer what life may throw at them. I have worked with families with children with Autism and behavioral needs.
