I am a licensed marriage and family therapist that has a heart for supporting people through different walks of life. I have experience working in a variety of settings, including a non-profit counseling center, a community based outpatient setting, and a school-based setting. I have worked with a variety of different populations and backgrounds. Through my personal and professional experiences, I have gained a passion in supporting people that are struggling with depression, anxiety, stress, self-esteem, anger management, relationship issues, and women’s issues. At this time, I am open to working with individual adults. In my therapy sessions, I bring a culturally-sensitive, trauma-informed, and strength-based approach while providing a non-judgmental and safe space for my clients. Although I use an eclectic therapy style to provide a personalized approach for each client, I lean towards utilizing a person-centered modality and find attachment theory to be very valuable when working with clients. I collaborate with my clients to ensure that they are receiving the support that is needed. My hope as a therapist is to support my clients in gaining a better understanding of themselves and for clients to know that they do not have to struggle alone. I find it an honor to join my clients in their journey as they work towards finding healing and restoration. I hope for my clients to feel heard, understood and validated in each session.
