Hello my name is Marsaides Mercier. I am a licensed Marriage and Family therapist and currently work as a Psychiatric Social worker. I have worked in the mental health field for 13 years, with children as well as adults. I am a native of Inglewood, CA., married with two great little people who challenge me daily. I enjoy the arts, had thoughts of acting, but found a love in writing stories and creating characters that I love and resonate with others. I hope to one day write a children’s book and own my own production company. I believe all these things contribute to my outlook on how to actively listen, be empathetic and present for clients. I believe it’s what makes me, me. My client’s topics range from anxiety, to depression, anger issues, difficulty communicating feelings, etc. I utilize behavioral therapy- Cognitive Behavioral therapy and I am certified in Trauma Focused Therapy.
