I am of the notion that each individual possess resilience, curiosity, and a purpose. And this is better supported when we have connection and a shared space to nurture our passions and desires for the present and future. It’s inspiring that community can bring out the best version of ourselves as well as protect us in our darkest times. I have the privilege of supporting you in centering yourself and developing a support system that strengthens your well-being and relationships.
I take value in building you up through your strengths even when your view of yourself may seem bleak. Utilizing a non-judgmental and gentle approach is one of the first steps I take in supporting you in feeling safe to open up. Next on the docket is empowerment! I want you to discover that your voice, needs, and concerns matter! You matter! I will help you navigate your challenges by utilizing a client-centered, trauma informed, and family systems approach. A lot of times I recognize that a client’s world view may be tainted or encumbered by feelings of defeat because of lack of boundaries, communication, dysregulated emotions, trauma, or chronic mental/physical health issues. I’ve personally experienced all of the above and believe with my professional skills and personal experiences I can support you in feeling understood and guided in a healthier way.
My goal is to meet you where you’re at in any stage of life. It all starts with the relationship. I want to understand you and assist you in creating goals that target the areas that matter to you most. This alone opens the door to new possibilities because the treatment is individualized. And even if you don’t know where to start, we can go on a journey of healing and self-discovery together. My job is to present practical tools to support you in taking life one day at a time.
