Hi! My name is Lauren (she/her). I am an LMFT and specialize in working with adults on issues related to depression, anxiety, life transitions, grief and loss, burnout, and so much more. I’ve been lucky to work with those between 3-96 years old. This has allowed me to see every stage of life. I have worked in community, hospital, home and school settings providing individual, child and family, couples, and intensive outpatient treatment. What I have come to enjoy when working with clients is helping them understand how they have gotten to the current moment in time. I see therapy as a journey in which I walk side by side with the client as they begin to gain an understanding and heal. As many say, I am an eclectic therapist and use many forms of therapy to help in the therapeutic process. I pull from a trauma based lens and look at the narratives people have carried with them. From there, I assist in developing tools from Dialectical Behavioral (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), and Acceptance & Commitment (ACT) therapy. These therapies allow for me to work with clients on building an understanding between thoughts, feelings, and behavior, how to increase mindfulness and emotion regulation, and create realistic goals to assist in their process. I look forward to meeting and getting to know you!
