I enjoy helping people to find passion, self-growth, hope and the answers to what they need in their life. I believe we all have the ability to do this within us, sometimes we just need some support and accountability. I like to impact people by meeting them where they are with compassion and empathy, while also being solutions-focused to help them identify and achieve their goals. I am an attachment-based therapist, and I utilize EFT and Gottman approaches. I also use CBT techniques and incorporate mindfulness. I enjoy working with people of color, interracial couples and Christian couples.
I understand that everyone goes through challenging times and we all need help sometimes. I have learned to be mindful and to take a deep breath as I have navigated anxious and worried thoughts. I have started doing yoga regularly which has taught me the importance of taking a moment to break and let it all go. I share this with my clients as a way to bring them back to the present moment… the only moment we can truly control.
