I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) at Foresight, Orange. I received my Master’s Degree at University of Denver School of Social Work. I have experience in the Community Mental Health outpatient setting as well as Hospice and Home Health. I have extensive experience working with adults and older adults; individually, in groups and within their family systems. My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, client-centered and relationship-based: focusing on empowering client’s to make positive changes in their lives, developing their own tools and coping skills. I tailor my approach to the individual needs of each client, combining evidence-based practices with creative solutions to address each person’s individual unique life challenges. My specialty areas include depression, anxiety, trauma, aging concerns, grief and loss and family caregiver stress. I utilize interventions from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
