As a clinician I like to blend creativity, practicality, and a down-to-earth personality to help create a catalyst for change. The issues I specialize in include eating disorders, mood disorders, OCD, trauma/PTSD, gender issues, and consensual non-monogamy. I began practicing psychotherapy in 2007 and have worked in a variety of settings with different populations, including dementia and individuals with hoarding and clutter issues. My graduate training in Art Therapy psychology helped me understand and promote the true power of creativity in a therapeutic context. I believe that a genuine connection between client and therapist is one of the most important variables that determines the success of therapy outcomes. As such, I prefer a relatable approach when working with clients. I’ve been told that I have been able to “reach” clients in their deepest moments of darkness. I hope I can reach you too.
