I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT ) at Foresight Chula Vista. I received my master’s Degree in Counseling from San Diego Sate University. I have experience working in a Community Based Outpatient facility. I have a passion for working with children, adolescents, families and adults in order to support them in their journey of personal growth. I support clients by helping them enhance their personal strengths, develop coping skills for them to utilize to thrive during difficult times, life transitions and needed change. My specialty area includes Depression, Anxiety, Interpersonal conflict, Stress management and Trauma. I approach therapy from a client-centered and trauma informed. I focused in providing a safe environment by being genuine, empathetic and compassionate. I have experience working with children, teens, adults and older adults by utilizing interventions from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strength Based Approaches, Solution Focused, Trauma Focused and Mindfulness practices.
