I believe everyone deserves to live a full and vibrant life. I’ve witnessed the profound impact that insight, support, and a safe space for processing thoughts, feelings, and experiences can have on individuals. Therapy has consistently shown its benefits in fostering peace, joy, and helping people lead their most fulfilling lives. I find my work enhances relationships by strengthening connection and communication. I am passionate about providing counseling, and I find immense joy in watching my clients thrive. It is a privilege to share in their pain and struggles and watch them grow.
I work very collaboratively with clients, making sure the treatment is aligned with their personal goals. I use tools and processes from many different theoretical backgrounds to support clients, working from where they are and what they hope to accomplish in therapy. I work help clients first with awareness and insight, then building tools to support change, all while providing space that feels supportive and empowering. I love working with young adults, young couples, adolescents and expecting or new moms.
I started my career working with foster youth, helping provide skills for leaving the foster system and find success in their adult lives. Over the years I gained experience working at Hospice, doing grief counseling, working at a mental health and substance abuse hospital, working at schools, in private practice, and leading community anxiety groups. I am married and have 3 kids which provides me with a source of learning every day in how to develop patience, understanding, communication and self awareness and self care.
