What drives me to continue to work in the field of mental health is my own experience witnessing what empathy, support, and guidance can provide to individuals facing mental health challenges. Providing the tools to help others navigate their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors in a healthy and constructive manner can be life changing! I hope to impact those I serve by creating a non-judgmental and empathetic environment where you can feel heard, validated, and empowered to make changes in your life. Whether you are struggling with past traumas, navigating the challenges of anxiety, working on improving self-esteem, or preparing for your career path, I am here to support you every step of the way.

I take a holistic approach to mental health, integrating Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and art therapy techniques in my practice. With a deep understanding of the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit, I strive to help individuals explore and heal their inner worlds. Some unique communities I enjoy working with are adolescents (11 – 17), young adults in transition periods, new moms, teen/young mothers (from pregnancy to postpartum), individuals that have experienced foster care, currently are in care or have DCSF involvement, youth on probation or system-impacted.

Before Foresight, I was the Program Director for Seen and Heard. A nonprofit that seeks to develop the professional character of system-impacted youth through performing arts training. With over 5 years experience dedicated to supporting adolescents and young adults in foster care, particularly those transitioning out of the system, and those that identified as system-impacted. I have worked with new parents, women that have experienced sexual abuse, LGBTQIA+, and I specialized in providing interpersonal and career development services, counseling and training for individuals dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, career readiness, and confidence-building.

In my Director role at the Seen and Heard organization, I have made significant contributions to the development and editing of an 18-week curriculum focused on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for youth aiming to enhance their career development. I have ensured that a trauma-informed approach is integrated throughout the curriculum, emphasizing sensitivity and understanding towards the unique experiences of the youth. By incorporating evidence-based practices and tailored interventions, I have helped create a comprehensive program that supports the holistic growth and well-being of the participants, fostering a safe and empowering environment for their personal and professional development.
